1st Modeliuok.LT Virtual Model Contest - rules in english

Rules

1. All types of models can participate in the contest (AFVs, ships, card, plastic, scratchbuilt etc.)
2. Contest entries must be registered before September 1st 2010.
3. Contest models must be started after the announced beginning of the contest and their build process must be covered in Modeliuok.LT forum.
4. Model is considered registered for contest after modeler starts new topic (e.g. PzKpfw VI Tiger Tank / GPM / 1:25 / card) in contest models section of Modeliuok.LT forum and introduces the model to be built.
5. Topic title must conform to forum rules.
6. Aside from winning places, additional theme awards will be presented.
7. Contest ends on December 15th, 2010.
8. Winners will be announced on December 20th, 2010.
9. Contest winners will be presented with prizes.
10. Prizes will be delivered by mail.
11. Categories will be created depending on number and type of models registered for contest. After registration ends, categories may be created based on model type (AFV, aircraft etc.), scale and build material (card, plastic etc.).
12. Build reports may be presented in Lithuanian, Russian or English.

Model evaluation

1. This contest is virtual and models will be judged by photographs, presented by builder.
2. Quality of model build presentation will have impact on overall score.
3. After completing the model, modeler must present at least 10 clear pictures of the model:
3.1. view from above,
3.2. front view,
3.3. back view,
3.4. both side views,
3.5. view from below,
3.6. 4 general view pictures.
4. Overall score will consist of model judging by Modeliuok.LT club jury and forum members votes.

Additional awards

1. Best card model.
2. Best plastic model.
3. Best scratchbuilt model.
4. Best model build report.
5. Best model of Lithuanian military vehicle.
6. Best model of Lithuanian civil vehicle.
7. Best model by Modeliuok.LT club member.

Hello,

The competinion has came to the end, so, during this weekend we will place unfinished models to the themes they belong: planes to the planes etc.

2010-12-20 the winners will be announced.

Due to willing of some modellers to finish models that are almost done, competition is extended till 25-01-2011.
